Would you love a world-class urban river surfing and whitewater recreation facility?

That's what Paddle Tas aims to create with the Surf City Project, based on their experience visiting cities in the northern hemisphere, they are confident that the Launceston region can become the world's best river surfing and whitewater recreation destination

River surfing/whitewater facilities act as recreation hubs that connect individuals and nature. By reshaping dangerous weirs into 'wave shapers' or 'whitewater parks,' we can create world-class deepwater standing surf waves and river rapids that are super fun, safe and accessible
